
Chris Marinak is the President of Playfly Sports, with extensive leadership experience across sports, media, technology, strategy, and operations.
Marinak currently leads Playfly Sports’ commercial engine across three business divisions (Media, Sponsorship, and Advisory & Services), helping drive growth for the sports industry’s leading revenue maximization company. Prior to joining Playfly, Marinak spent 17 years at Major League Baseball, most recently serving as Chief Operations & Strategy Officer. In that role, he oversaw strategic, technology and operational initiatives across the league, including MLB’s digital products, ticketing and data platforms, and efforts supporting professional baseball attendance of more than 100 million fans per season.
Earlier in his career, Marinak worked at Capital One in technology and strategic analysis. He served on the boards of USA Baseball, Rawlings Sporting Goods, and the Harvard Business School Club of New York. Marinak holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
